THIS week's Memory Lane pictures come from Benarty exile Harry Thomson, from Corby.

Harry is a former Benarty man and came across these pictures when he was clearing out his attack and they are from the mid to early 20th century.

These include the former Co-op building in Hope Terrace, Lochore; and members of a local angling team with rods ready for action.

During the second World War, with men fighting abroad, young women needed to be recruited to help out with maintaining the railways and these girls are pictured working on the local line. The other picture shows trams coming to the end of the road in 1937.

If you have any old photographs you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
