THIS week's Down Memory Lane collection comes from Ballingry man Alex Hunter.
With all the discussion going on about how the Lochore Meadows Country Park should look in the future Mr Hunter's collection look at how the magnificent facility was created.
The shots show early work on the regrading of the coal waste with a crane and scraper working in very wet conditions.
Another shows a pond being infilled which was a pretty painstaking task while a bing can be seen with work going on to reclaim the ground.
The last one was a typical shot during the summer when the scraper's were working on the bings with clouds of dust everywhere.
If you have any old photographs you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
