In relation to the planning application, the requirement for consultation was undertaken appropriately. The proposal is not defined as a ‘major’ application in terms of the planning legislation, so there was no requirement to undertake formal consultation prior to the submission of the planning application. When registered and made valid, the application appeared on the weekly list of submitted applications which is circulated to all Community Councils. Full details of current planning applications can be accessed on line 24 hours a day through the e-planning portal.“
