A LOCHORE man who threatened violence towards his mother was remanded in custody pending reports.
Scott Walker, 36, of Ivanhoe Avenue, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court when he admitted that on December 13, at his home, he behaved in a threatening manner, shouting and swearing and making threats of violence towards Sandra Walker and police officers.
The Court was told that at around 8.45am of the day of the offence an argument developed when accused asked for a cup of coffee but could not find a clean cup.
When his mother told him to clean a cup be started shouting and swearing.
The complainer managed to make a discrete call to the police and when officers attended they found her locked in the bathroom of the house for safety reasons.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports before sentencing Walker on February 1 and remanded him in custody.
