NEW Year's Day will see the Benarty Fundraisers latest Splash4Cash event and the organisers are hoping to see the biggest turn out yet.
This year the Fundraisers are hoping to see money raised to back a series of local good causes.
These include the Crosshill Centre based Food Bank, where the volunteers help needy families and individuals.
Food Bank co-ordinator, Stevie Nardone, has been delighted with the support the local community gives to the facility and in 2017 he hopes that this will continue.
The Fundraisers' James Fotheringham said: "We are really trying to push the Food Bank this year and would like some of the local shops and businesses to get involved too.

The Country Park will be busy on New Year's Day with the plunge to take place at noon.
Added James: "The weather forecast for Sunday is pretty good so it should be a great day.
"Why not make a splash and at the same time raise money for good causes in the Benarty area."
