SOUNDS from the sixties are being promised for a special charity concert in Hill of Beath on Friday.
The Sabres are performing a reunion gig in the Hill of Beath Ex-Serviceman’s Club to raise cash for children’s charity CHAS.
Organiser Johnny Graham said the four band members were originally together between 1962 and 1966.
“One of the original members emigrated to Canada and he is coming back this month so we are doing a few gigs together,” he explained.
“Two of us have been playing for a couple of years back together and going into nursing homes but with him coming back, we thought we’d put on a few more for old time’s sake and to raise money for charity.”
The tickets, priced £5, are available at the door. It starts at 7.45pm.
