A FORMER Lochgelly man is looking for information on an unusual LP he was given.
Harry Bird, who now stays in Kirkcaldy, was given the recording of Lochgelly Brass Band's version of the Churchill March.
It was recorded in 1985 by the band under conductor George Bennett and Harry would love to know more about the LP.
He said this week: "My old boss Bob McCormack bought it at a car boot sale an gave it to me as he knew my interest in music from local bands.
"I was part of Lochore Pipe Band that went to Russia in 1957 for the 6th World Youth Festival when I was just 14 years-old.
"I was a memorable occasion and I suppose I have been interested in both pipe and brass music over the years.
"The LP really is in immaculate condition and I would love to know more about this recording by the Lochgelly Band."
If anyone can help Harry they cant contact him on 01592 650665.
