Robert McFarlane receives recognition of his service from Gavin Boswell.
A MAN who has served churches well in the Cowdenbeath area over more than four decades has had his service recognised.
On Sunday August 19 the popular church organist Trinity Church, Robert MacFarlane, was presented with a long service certificate from the Church of Scotland celebrating 45 years as an organist in churches in the local area.
Rev Gavin Boswell made the presentation on behalf of the Church of Scotland and warmly praised Robert.
Said Rev Boswell: "Robert’s service is much appreciated by all".
