A BALLINGRY woman has appeared in court following a £15,000 benefits fraud, which took place over a period of more than three years.
In the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court was Bonnie Hart, 25, of Kirkland Avenue.
She admitted that between October 9, 2013, and May 30, 2017, she failed to give prompt notification of a change in circumstances to the Department of Work and Pensions by failing to declare that her partner was working.
As a result of this, she obtained £15,000 in Employment and Support Allowance which she was not entitled to receive.
Sheriff James MacDonald called for reports and Hart will be sentenced on September 26.
