THIS week's Down Memory Lane pictures have been supplied by Cowdenbeath woman Mary Hutton.
Mrs Hutton, from Chapel Street, found them in a collection of old photographs which her late husband William gathered.
He worked in the NCB Workshops in the town, and three of the pictures have a strong Workshops flavour.
One of them was taken in the yard at the Workshops and shows the electricians, of which William was an active and proud member.
Another shows a trip from the Church Street facility to Blackpool in 1948 and there is a shot of a Workshops dance at the Palais De Danse in 1951. The fourth picture is of cubs at the Stenhouse Street hall.
If you have an old photographs you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday and a Friday.
