A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after a car left the road on the A92 near Cowdenbeath yesterday and traffic faced a long wait to get moving again.
Ambulance, fire and police were called to the road, just east of the Cowdenbeath interchange, at around 9.10am on Wednesday.
The accident saw queues building up quickly and drivers faced considerable delays.
The Ambulance Service dispatched an ambulance to the scene and a woman in her 30s was taken to Kirkcaldy Victoria Hospital for treatment.
