CROSSGATES is to be the venue for an unusual fundraiser.
Behind the firewalk, organised for Friday September 14, is Lana Moffat.
She said this week: "This event is open to everyone, whether they want to raise money for a charity, a youth club, sports club etc, etc or to do it as a personal challenge.
"I'm trying to get as many charities and groups close to my heart as possible involved.
"So far I have people doing it for The Cottage Family Centre, in Kelty; Cash for Kids, The Marguerite Henderson Fund, the Neo-natal Unit at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy; my friend Deanna Wilson, from Crossgates who is living with incurable cancer to give her the chance to travel for medical trials; 15 kids from Centre Stage to go to dance at Disney; Hearts of Beath Football Club...... the list goes on".
Added Lana: "We still have lots of spaces left and I would love more local charities or clubs to get the benefit of taking part, raise awareness for them and some money."
Lana added: "Just at the end of last week the Ava and Emma Foundation, in Lochgelly, signed up to take part and someone is going to be doing it for Help for Heroes. But there are still more spaces"
