MSP, Jenny Gilruth, is taking her regular advice surgeries on the road this month from Friday July 20 to Friday July 27, travelling her constituency of Mid Fife and Glenrothes to meet with constituents.

And she will be in Kinglassie as part of the plan.

Ms Gilruth will visit Leven, Kennoway, Upper Largo, Lundin Links and Windygates, Collydean, Markinch, Glenrothes town centre and Kinglassie during her tour – meeting with constituents to discuss local issues of importance.

Since her election in 2016, the MSP has committed to being accessible to all her constituents and has held a number of surgery tours over the past two years.

Commenting ahead of the tour, Ms Gilruth said: “I really enjoy getting out and about in my constituency and meeting with constituents is one of the best parts of the job. It is vitally important that politicians make it as easy as possible for constituents to contact them - my regular tours are about reaching out to every part of Mid Fife and Glenrothes.

“Whilst I hold regular surgeries in Glenrothes and Leven, it’s so important to get out to the villages and into the heart of communities as an elected member. I’d really encourage anyone in the local area, who needs assistance, to come along and speak to me directly on the tour - or to contact my constituency office in Markinch to arrange an appointment.”
