POLICE are seeking the assistance of the public in trying to locate a 48 year old man missing from Cowdenbeath since last Tuesday July 10.

Steven Cunningham was last seen in Fife on Tuesday. He is in possession of his car, a silver coloured Vauxhall Astra, Registration Number VE64KNF.

His family reported him missing and enquiries are ongoing to trace him.

Steven is around 5ft 10 inches tall, of stocky build, short brown receding hair and wear gold rimmed glasses. When last seen he was wearing a blue coloured t-shirt and possibly navy coloured shorts.

Constable Fiona Menzies, at Cowdenbeath Police Station, said: “This is completely out of character for Steven to not be in touch with friends or family for this length of time.

"His family are understandably worried and just want to know he is okay.

“It is understood he may have travelled to the north of England in his car.

“I would ask anyone who may have seen Steven or who has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts to contact us so we can ensure he is safe and well. I would also appeal to Steven to get in contact with us, or with family and friends.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Cowdenbeath Police Station on 101, quoting the reference MP180703888.”
