P7 Primary school leavers, from St. Patricks RC Primary in Lochgelly, were treated to a night of celebration on Saturday June 23, when parents got together to organise a Sausage Sizzle Party.

One of the parents allowed the class mates to hold the party in their garden! The group of parents arranged for a disco, balloons, party bus trip and a piper to pipe them into the garden.

On arrival the group were treated to gummy bear (non-alcoholic) sparkling wine, with mock-tails and hot dogs.

The party buses were a huge surprise for the youngsters, who had a wonderful night, including a visit to the promenade at Kirkcaldy on a lovely evening, sharing special moments with their friends.

A huge thank you went from the parents went to Special Occasions, in Lochgelly, for supplying beautiful black and gold balloon decorations, the Co-op in Bank Street for a donation paying for the party buses, Moving Sounds Mobile Disco for fitting the party in at short notice and within the group's budget, and for the piper, Conner Pratt, who after playing all day at Lochore Meadows in the annual Piping competition, turned up to make the arrival so special.
