AS part of their Heritage and Culture celebrations local Orange Lodges are holding a a special awareness day this Saturday.

This comes three weeks before the event which will be held in Cowdenbeath.

The Orange Awareness event is being held at Crossgates Community Centre on Saturday from 10am.

Said a spokesperson on behalf of the Lodges: "We invite members of the public throughout the area to come along and view the various exhibits and meet with our officers who will explain our history and why we are part of the community and not apart from it.

"Enjoy tea, coffee while the various stands can be viewed."
