MEMBERS of Central Fife Crime Prevention Panel are to be at gala days and community events during the summer getting community safety advice across.
The Panel's annual general meeting heard that in the past there had been efforts made to get to as many as possible.
Said chairman Colin Bird: "These are great community occasions and having a presence can help get our message across on crime prevention and community safety and the hope is that we will be able to hit the gala days in Cowdenbeath, Kelty, Crossgates, Benarty, and Lochgelly along with the Cardenden Village Fair."
Among the initiatives they promote are Card Wallets which protect bank cards from being remotely tampered with and over the past year they have distributed more than 800 of these.
