A SPECIAL school re-union is set to take place on June 23 at the Village Inn, in Dundonald.
The Auchterderran Junior High School Re-union is being held for pupils who were at the Cardenden school in the 1960s.
Organiser Betty Moffat said: "Anyone who attended Auchterderran or left in the 1960s will be made very welcome at the Re-union."
Betty came across a photograph of some of pupils who were at the school in the 1960s and added: "They were a really happy group and many of them still live in the Cardenden area."
Before Lochgelly High School was built in the 1980s secondary education was provided by Ballingry Junior High School and Auchterderran Junior High for children in Ballingry, Lochgelly and Cardenden.
Added Betty: "Many of the Auchterderran pupils of the 1960s are still in the area and we would love to see them on Saturday June 23 at the event in the Village Inn."
