THE 2018 Willie Maley football tournament was a massive success with Cardenden's three primary schools producing some cracking stuff at John Thomson Park.

The event was organised by the John Thomson Memorial Committee in conjunction with Active Schools and Denend, St Ninians and Cardenden Primaries' pupils playing well and most importantly having a lot of fun.

The referee was a member of the Active Schools staff who did an excellent job, who also commented on the quality of the play on show.
