LOCHGELLY High School Community Use has two new successful sign language students.

The community use department has been supplying the course for some years and it has been able to see many successfully going on to help deaf people.

The class’s tutor, Maria Gilmour, was delighted to have news of a further two students receiving their full British Sign Language Level 1 Award.

And Chloe Stewart., one of their youngest ever students to receive their award (pictured centre) was delighted to go along to show off her certificate again with new students Jacqueline Dear and Fiona Young, who have now received their’s.

Maria Gilmour, Course Tutor, said: “It was great to see Chloe again and see Jacqueline and Fiona with their certificiates.

“We provide classes in a fun and relaxed atmosphere in working towards this nationally recognised qualification in British Sign Language”.
