THE legendary Flying Scotsman train flew through Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly on Sunday no fewer than three times.
Two local snappers, Derek Johnstone from Lochgelly, and Cowdenbeath's Robert Currie captured the famous steam engine on its way through the area.
Derek said: "Here's photos of the evening's visit when it passed approximately at 8pm."
Derek and partner Lindsay were actually aboard the train earlier in the day and had a great time seeing the landscape from a different point of view!
Commented Robert: "I captured the the Flying Scotsman on its third journey past Lumphinnans Pond as it headed along past Cowdenbeath Station on Sunday night."
