AFTER collecting 50 bags of rubbish in last weekend's clean-up move, Cowdenbeath Environment Group is looking to mount another venture this Saturday.
The volunteers were delighted with the success of their clean-up of the Community Woodland and now they are planning to tackle and area behind High Street.
Said a spokesperson for the Environment Group: "We are planning a community litter pick for Saturday morning starting at 10am "The area top be targeted is the service track which starts at the back of the Iceland shop on the High Street and the more volunteers the better, everyone is welcome.
"This particular area sees a lot of items dropped by people using the track and it makes quite a mess so we hope to make some inroads into cleaning it up."
