AN EASTER treat is in store at Lochgelly High School this month.

The school is opening its doors for its Annual Senior Citizens’ Treat on Wednesday March 28 from 2pm to 3.30pm.

Those fortunate enough to attend will be served with seasonal fare by the school’s Home Economics pupils and will be entertained by the school’s Music Department.

The musical accompaniment will include contributions from the school’s prize winning Pipe Band, Wind Band, Percussion and String Ensembles and soloist.

Said the school’s Sarah Wozniak: “This promises to be a highly enjoyable afternoon.

“Unfortunately the numbers in attendance will have to be limited to a maximum of 200.

Tickets will be made available, totally free of charge, to all senior citizens in the area, but on a first come, first served advanced booking basis only.

If you want to be one of the lucky 200 attending, please telephone the school (01592-583406) and leave a note of your name, address and ticket requirements.

“Tickets will then be posted out to the lucky applicants”.
