THE ‘big night’ for the Cowdenbeath Area YOSCARs is an annual event to celebrate the achievements of young people within our community.

Beath High School was extremely proud to have a large number of pupils recognised at this including the Peer Water Safety Ambassadors who worked with the Fire Service and RNLI to deliver assemblies in local primary schools; the Beath-Malawi group for the impact they have on young people in Malawi; as well as many others who help or take part in voluntary groups within their local area. In addition young people who have successfully completed the “7 Habits” and “Jigsaw” programmes also received certificates to mark this achievement.

Lee Clark, Isla Cattanach, Lauren Watt, Alicia Howatt, Josh Logan and Heather Johnstone were recognised individually for the voluntary work they have completed within the community. Well done to everyone who won a ‘YOSCAR, the school staff are very proud of you!
