BEATH High welcomed The Swingles to the music department recently. The group started in the 1960’s and since then they have won 5 “Grammy” Awards and appeared on film and TV soundtracks including Grey’s Anatomy, Sex and the City, and Glee.
During their visit the Singers gave Beath High Choir a vocal workshop which included acting, presentation, breathing and performance coaching.
This was in preparation for a performance in the Younger Hall, St. Andrews for the Festival of Vocal and Choral Music. The Beath Choir participated singing “Something Inside so Strong “ - delivering a stunning performance. The event closed with a finale which brought all performers together with “Les Fleurs”.
The weekend provided the choir with an unforgettable experience of working and performing with this top vocal group. Their performances were of the highest quality and they were a credit to Beath.
