A LOCHORE man was back in the dock just days after being put on a community payback order.

James Connelly, 28, of New Flockhouse, Lochore, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that on 14th October in New Flockhouse, Lochore, he drove when unfit to do so through drink or drugs.

He also admitted he drove with no insurance and at Dunfermline police station he refused to provide specimens of breath.

Connelly, who is unemployed, was arrested in the early hours of the Saturday morning.

Just three days before he was placed on a community payback order for assaulting a shop worker in Lochgelly.

He then began making offensive comments about the woman’s family, threatening to kill her brother and saying they were all in danger.

For that offence Sheriff Craig McSherry imposed a community payback order with 200 hours of unpaid work and £100 compensation.

Connelly was back in front of the same sheriff after a weekend in custody. Sentence was deferred for reports until 15th November. An interim driving ban was imposed and bail was granted.
