AS the 20 pupils at Lochgelly High School continue their efforts to raise money to support their Arctic Adventure next spring, a race night is to be held on Friday November 10.
Ten LHS pupils, and rector Carol Ann Penrose, have been selected to head for the Arctic as part of The Polar Academy's 2018 venture and they have been busy.
Said the mums of three of the pupils chosen, Michelle, Sharn and Helen: "So far we have had stalls at galas, walked the Forth Road Bridge and held car boot sales and a fundraiser at Shardy's in Lochgelly, but now we have a Race Night in the Railway Tavern, Cardenden, on Friday November 10 and we hope that there will be a good turn out from the people of the village."
Tickets are £2.30 which includes supper.
