COWDENBEATH boss Billy Brown has moved to bolster his striking resources by signing Jordan Garden, who has been the trialist in the Blues' last three games and scored the winner against East Fife in the Fife Cup last week.

Jordan is aged 20 and after an initial spell with Dundee came through the youth ranks of Dundee United.

The tall striker left United at the end of last season and Cowden are delighted that Jordan has agreed to join up at Central Park.

Said director David Allan: "We extend a hearty Blue Brazil welcome to Jordan who is the son of ex-goalkeeper and one-time Montrose manager Stuart Garden and the grandson of ex-Scotland star and Dundee boss Jocky Scott".
