A LOCHGELLY man is facing trial at the High Court in Livingston on a total of 23 charges, of which many involve rape and indecent assault.
Michael Gray (53), of Adamson Road, denies the charges which involve nine of rape and six indecent assaults.
The Crown alleges that the sexual offences were against five different women.
Gray also denies three charges of assault to danger of life, two common assaults and three breaches of the peace.
The trial, before Lord Mulholland, started on Tuesday and continues today.
