THIS week's Down Memory Lane selection comes from a Lochore lady now living in Northamptonshire.

Heather Thomson has had these pictures for years but only came across them again a few weeks back and felt these would be ideal for our Memory Lane page. We thank her.

One of them is a shot of a Saturday night at Glencraig Miners Welfare Institute in the 1950s-60s. Another is a picture of a Lochore and Crosshill Gala pamphlet of 1925 which contains a picture of gala queen Catherine Duffins.

Coming more up to date is a picture of The Auld Shank, in Ballingry, from around 1996. The building is no longer a pub, while the last picture from Heather is of Capeldrae Court, from the 50s or 60s, not long after Ballingry started to increase in size.

If you have any old photographs you would like to see in Down Memory Lane send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
