THE success of Cowdenbeath Gala Day 2017 will be on the agenda at the town's Civic Week Committee's annual general meeting.
That is being held on Thursday September 14 at
6.45pm in Brunton House.
The June gala day, which brought a brilliant conclusion to a week of events, was held in lovely weather and attracted a mile long parade full of marchers of all shapes and sizes and floats.
The Civic Week Committee was proud of the event but as secretary Claire Morgan pointed out, they will be looking ahead to 2018 and new members are always needed and would be made most welcome.
Said Claire: "We would welcome a good turn out at the annual general meeting. Anyone wishing to attend should enter Brunton House via the back door at the car park."
