COWDENBEATH MSP Annabelle Ewing was out in the constituency at the weekend taking in both Kelty and Benarty Galas.

Annabelle attended the Kelty Gala in her constituency on Saturday.

Speaking after the event, Ms Ewing said: “There was a great turnout for this year’s Kelty Gala and I was particularly pleased that the rain held off for the parade.

“It really is a fantastic event with lots of activities laid on at the park.

"A massive well done to the pipe band and to everyone involved in making this such a special day for the people of Kelty.”

On the Sunday the MSP attended the Benarty Gala. Ms Ewing said: “It really was a great day out for all at this year’s Benarty Gala.

“The sun shone, the parade was excellent and there were lots of stalls and activities to entertain all who attended.

“Very well done to all those involved in the organisation of this brilliant day, it was a fantastic effort with huge support from right across the local community.”
