THIS week's Down Memory Lane selection comes from John Tennant, Mrs Baxter, Henry Marshalsey and the Times collection.

John Tennant said: "This photo has Jack (John) McKean and two other girls not in the photo at Holyrood. I’m not sure why they weren’t in the photo at Holyrood. I think the additional girls names are Moira and June. I’m not sure of their surnames. In my photo from back left to right are: Andrew Wilson; Bill Baxter; Jack McKean; John Tennant; Blair Matthews; Jane Michie; Christine Wright; Eric Gray (rector); Moira ?; Catherine Skelly; Ann Matthews; Carol Moffat; Mary Paton; June Ness?; June ?? & Heather Graham."

The photo sent by Mrs Baxter was after the Duke of Edinburgh Award presentation taking place at Holyrood.

Mr Marshalsey's is of the Denend Primary School team which won the Willie Maley Cup in 1947. He was part of the side and can recall the team. Back row Janitor Mr Gilfillan, William Harrow, Jim Penman, Ronald Abercrombie, John Carlin, Henry Marshalsey and Robert Carruthers. Front, Arthur Jack, Bill McLelland, George Bruce, Tom Holmes and Bert Wotherspoon.

He said: "Probably about half the team are still alive and in the area but I am only in regular contact with Bill McLelland and occasionally bump into Bob Carruthers."

Our picture from the Times collection is one that is the best part of 100 years-old and shows the road through Lochore.
