AN intensive beginners course in learning Gaelic is on offer to Fifers in the summer holidays.
Fife Council say there is "an increasing interest and support" in the language and want to make it accessible to all.
The two week course – the venue is still to be confirmed – is a partnership between the council and Fife Gaelic Development Group and is funded by Bord na Gaidhlig.
The dates are July 17, 19, 21, 24, 26 and 28 from 9.30am to 4.30pm each day.
The cost is £170 but there are discounts for low income households and they may be able to offer free places in some instances.
