LUMPHINNANS Primary School ran a French week to promote the teaching of a modern language within the school and it had a special visitor at the centre of it all.
As well as investigating French culture and learning a French song they were visited by Val Ramousse, a French citizen now living in Scotland.
Principal teacher Alice McCrae said: "The children enjoyed being read to and spoken to in French and getting to ask him lots of questions about what it is like to live in France.
"He also took part in a French breakfast and a rather competitive game of Boules! The children had a great time!"
