ON Saturday people of all ages have a chance to taste what the big science festival will offer in the town the following weekend.

From 11am to 3pm on Saturday at the Green Square, on Cowdenbeath High Street, the public are being invited to pop in and get a taste for science?

Head along to this science busking event with Dundee Science Centre’s team ahead of the big family events coming up next weekend..

Said the Dundee Science Centre's Isabella Melking: "Experience forensic science themed activities, discover how investigators use fingerprints to solve mysteries and find out how you can identify the bones in your body.
"Take part in a range of fun, hands-on experiments you can do at home – using everyday ingredients".

Highlighting the future of food, our health and our planet, the team from Dundee Science Centre will also bring along some edible insects for you to try (see picture)!
The science exhibition is FREE drop-in event, so no booking required and is brought to Cowdenbeath by Dundee Science Centre and funded by the Scottish Government, Shell UK, Edina Trust and Fife Council, Fife Science Festival 2017 offers a diverse range of free activities for visitors of all ages.
