POLICE have issued an appeal after a 12-year-old boy went missing in Dunfermline on Friday afternoon.
Shane Davey, who lives in Kelty, was last seen on Bute Crescent in the Abbeyview area of Dunfermline around 3pm on Friday.
Officers have been conducting inquiries since this time and are asking for anyone who can help to come forward.
Shane is described as 4ft 6ins tall, of stocky build, with light brown hair, last seen wearing black jeans, a grey jacket, possibly a grey hoodie and black trainers.
Anyone who may have seen Shane since this time is urged to contact Dunfermline Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 1861 of May 12.
