FOLLOWING the sell out success of last year’s “Sunshine On Leith”, Kelty Musical Association are delighted to be presenting another brand new show, with the Fife Premiere of Monty Python’s “Spamalot!”

Described as “lovingly ripped off from the original”, it takes many of Monty Python’s most famous sketches from The Holy Grail and other sources and turns them into a musical extravaganza parodying many other musicals and takes the stage next week.

Expect to see can can girls, tap dancers, romance and comedy galore in this dazzling show featuring many of your favourite Kelty performers including Gary Gibb, Peter Tomassi, Darren Johnstone and Steven Smyth. Kelty has long been famed for the families within the company and this year Kelty stalwart Lindsay Black is joined on stage by his son Craig Black (in his Kelty debut), playing The King of Swamp Castle and his weedy son Prince Herbert. Meantime Lucy Duffy, whose father, grandparents and great-uncles have all been involved with the company, also makes her Kelty debut as The Lady of the Lake.

Spamalot runs in The Carnegie Hall from Wednesday May 3 to Saturday May 6 at 7.15pm nightly, with a 2.15pm matinee. Call 01383 413089 for tickets.
