THIS week's Down Memory Lane picture is a comparison sent in by Lochgelly local history enthusiast Derek Johnstone.
These are before and after photos of Perth Road, Cowdenbeath.
Both the old photos were taken in the early 1900's. and they show a sharp contrast with the present day look of the same street.
Indeed, the shot of the garage site shows how much the town has stretched to the north whereas in the early 1900s it was just a muddy track.
