THIS week's Memory Lane photographs come from an exile who now lives in Kent.

Alex Stevenson sent these shots up from Cowdenbeath, Benarty and Lochgelly.

The two Lochgelly pictures show gala day in 1986 and a happy group on their float. The other 'Gelly shot is from a lot further back, indeed it is Bank Street in the closing part of the 19th century or early part of the 20th.

The Benarty shot is an aerial one of Glencraig with the primary school which was to become Babygro, while the Cowdenbeath picture is from Stenhouse Street and shows the old Beath Beath High School building.

If you have any old pictures you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send it to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take it to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, on a Monday or a Friday.
