NEW life is being breathed in to one of Lochgelly's industrial estates and the site of the the former Weathermac factory is the home for three thriving businesses with more to come.

Behind the resurrection of this huge building which dominates the eastern end of Auchterderran Road is Telford Property Consultants and DM Hall and within a few months it is looking like a real winning formula to help create more jobs in the Lochgelly area.

Currently in the Business Park are STAG Steel, Personalise Me and Evolution Functional Fitness but Roger Telford, who is helping guide the project, feels the excellent road links to the facility will ensure it continues to develop.

He said this week: "Our plan is to create a unit just how the tenant wants it.

"Already we have created a gym facility for Evolution and a production facility for Amy Seymour of Personalise Me which makes printed wear and embroidered items.

"STAG Steel has been resident with us for a wee while now and are doing really well so in a relatively short time new life is being breathed in to this large industrial facility and we have several units currently available."

Amy said; "This has been a great base for us and so far everything has gone well so hopefully this trend will continue."

Stephen Esslemont, of Evolution Functional Fitness said: "Our set up is geared to offering work-outs for people on their way to work or on their way home and is about progression no perfection.

"We have top quality equipment which offers the opportunity for people to work out as organised groups with expert advice on tap."

Stephen said that the excellent road links saw people stopping for sessions daily and he was delighted with the facility created in the spacious unit for the equipment which is key to their operation.

Roger Telford added that over £50,000 had been spent on refurbishing the former Weathermac plant which has seen massive car parking space created around the units and said that there were several potential new tenants were in the pipeline.

He said; "When a potential tenant comes to us we start with a blank sheet of paper and our aim is to do everything we can to accommodate them and create the unit that is perfect for them.

"We are hopeful that the excellent road links and pricing will see us attract business from the Lothians over the coming months."
