COWDENBEATH man Mark Bishop is giving people in the district the chance to ease themselves up to full fitness.

Mark, 33, started his Best bootcamp sessions at Beath High School Community Use in January and already he has helped a lot of people make a real difference to their health and wellbeing.

Brought up in Ballingry Mark's sporting background is of karate, being the son of well known and highly successful instructor Bill Bishop, but he was to become a footballer playing in the junior and amateur ranks before becoming a fitness instructor.

He runs his Best Bootcamp sessions at Beath on Mondays from 7pm to 7.30pm and also TRX circuits at the school on Saturday mornings between 9.30am and 10am.

Said Mark: "Best Bootcamp is a 30 minute workout suitable for complete beginners and well as those who are working at an advanced level.

"There are three options starting with Beginners, then Intermediate and finally Advanced. These sessions involve big movements targeting multiple muscle groups and giving people massive calories burn ensuring maximum benefit in a minimum time.

"People do not have a lot of spare time these days so the Best bootcamp is about putting together the optimum output in a shot timescale."

TRX is the ultimate body weight training tool and used with equipment such as kettle bells, slam balls and battle ropes the TRX Circuit is designed to improve all aspects of fitness.

Added Mark: "Both activities are about people doing things to improve their fitness levels at their own pace and at the level they feel comfortable at.

"All age groups are welcome and really I can cater for 16 year-olds to 60 plus."
