EU nationals living in the Cowdenbeath-Lochgelly area have the opportunity to raise their Brexit concerns with Roger Mullin MP tomorrow(Saturday).

To ensure as many people as possible are heard, Mr Mullin will be holding another EU-themed Open Surgery at the Lochgelly Centre on Saturday February 18 at 1pm.

This surgery will provide an opportunity for individuals to discuss their situations on a one-to-one basis with the Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath constituency MP and also to take part in an open discussion about Brexit and Scotland’s place in Europe.

Expressing his wish to hear the views of everyone in the community, Mr Mullin said: “Many of my constituents have approached me with concerns over what Brexit means for their future. With the triggering of Article 50 looming, I felt it an appropriate time to hold an EU-themed surgery as a platform for debate and discussion amongst my constituents.

“I would encourage anyone who has something to say on Brexit to come along on the 18th to join in the discussion.”

He also welcomed the publication of the Scottish Government’s plan to protect Scotland’s place in Europe, adding that: “The Scottish Government has shown great leadership in challenging times to bring experts together and publish a plan for protecting Scotland’s place in the EU.”
