APPLICATIONS should be submitted as soon as possible for support from the 4 Winds Development Trust – Community Grants scheme.
The next meeting of the 4 Winds Development Trust is set for February 20, so now is the time to get an application submitted!
The Trustees, volunteers from the 4 Community Councils, will consider applications from community groups across the communities covered, Auchtertool, Lochgelly, Lumphinnans and Cowdenbeath.
Said the Trust's Stevie Murray: "All the form requires is an outline of your group’s project, who will benefit, a copy of the group’s constitution and an up to date bank statement and audited accounts."
The 4Winds Trust distributes the community fund accrued from the Little Raith Wind Farm run by Kennedy Renewables, south of Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly.
Over the past three years the Trust has supported a range of local projects ranging from the Lochgelly Christmas Lights Group and Cowdenbeath Civic Week to the Central Fife Community Safety Panel.
You can get access to the application form at the 4Winds Trust website www.4windstrust.co.uk
