LOCHGELLY staff and pupils respectfully marked the two minute's silence at 11am on Friday November 11.
The school's own ‘lone piper,’ Findlay Shields, brought in the silence by piping in the school courtyard.
School pipers were also involved in commemorations across the authority: Adam MacKenzie took part in proceedings at Glenwood High School and Daniel Clemison performed at Ballingry Cemetery, in conjunction with pupils from Benarty and St Kenneth’s primary schools.
On Remembrance Sunday, the full Lochgelly High School Pipe Band led the parade in Lochgelly in the morning.
On the Sunday afternoon Jack Malvenan, Findlay Shields, Daniel Clemison and Callum Clemison performed at the service in Lochore.
