YOUNGSTERS from Crossgates Primary School visited the Scottish Parliament and met up with MSP for Mid Scotland and Fife Alex Rowley. The Crossgates pupils were shown round the building and experienced the Parliament debating chamber as well as viewing the exhibition of Glasgow born photographer Harry Benson, who captured first hand the political and historical events that unfolded in America in the 1960s and 1970s.
The class then spent time with Alex Rowley and questioned him on a range of topics form the role of an MSP in Parliament to Brexit, the election of Donald Trump as United States President and the future constitution of Scotland.
