BENARTY Art Club's talented members are delighted to have the chance to show off their work at their exhibition being housed at Lochgelly Centre's gallery.

The exhibition will run until January 9 and there are some 37 works on display.

The club meets every Monday at 12.45pm at Benarty Centre and over the past few weeks they have had three new people going along.

Said club secretary Violet Fotheringham: "The club members are relishing this chance to put their work on display and it is so encouraging to see some grandchildren getting involved.

"There was a good turn out at our private viewing evening and we hope that people will take the opportunity to drop in at the Lochgelly Centre art gallery and see what the talents of our members has produced."

Violet said that the club is always looking for new members and three new people showing interest in joining has been a boost and she added that the first class for any person interested in getting involved is a taster event at which materials are available for people to have a go whether it be drawing or painting.
