MANY Cowden fans over the years have witnessed the fine goalkeeping performances of David McGurn in the Raith Rovers goal.
David made over 200 appearances for the Kirkcaldy club in an 8 year spell at Stark’s Park but this coming season he will be in goal for Cowdenbeath.
He has also played for Morton and on loan for Stranraer. David has really been a firm favourite with the fans of the Kirkcaldy club and he was inducted into the Raith Rovers Hall of Fame just last year.
Cowden manager Liam Fox has now secured the transfer of his former team-mate from Raith Rovers.
Said Liam: "With the paperwork now being completed, we offer a very warm welcome to David as he joins the Blue Brazil.
"David is also a qualified goalkeeping coach and works as a lecturer at Cardonald College in Sports Coaching and Fitness".
