A GREAT price offer has been kicked-off by the region’s leading sports and leisure provider for people looking to get active at the weekends and Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre is part of it.

Fife Sports and Leisure Trust is reducing the hire cost on its outdoor synthetic pitches at weekends so that more people can get active and enjoy the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

The move effectively gives users a 50 per cent discount compared to peak weekday prices to hire any of its pitches across the region.

Scott Urquhart, operations manager for Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: “We have taken the decision to make access to our outdoor pitches even more affordable so that we can widen access to local communities.

"The trust has a great range of pitches available at six of its facilities and I’d really encourage those who want to take advantage of the new price structure to make a booking.

“The reduced prices makes playing on the pitches a great opportunity for a range of users, of all ages and abilities, to get active and have fun at the weekends and make physical activity a regular part of their lifestyle.”

The new price structure is available at outdoor synthetic pitches at Beacon Leisure Centre, Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre, Cupar Sports Centre, Dalgety Bay Sports and Leisure Centre, Lumphinnans Sports Hub and Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre, Glenrothes.
