HAVING held some very successful fundraising events already the pupils are well aware they still have a long way to go to raise what they want for the Malawi Fund.

They have organised a few more fundraising events for the next few weeks and hopefully they all will have some fun along the way.

The first major event was the Car Boot Sale held in the bus park at the school in September. About 25 cars went along.

The Beath pupils had their stall in the middle of the bus park where they were selling home baking and tuck. Pupils had worked hard to make items for sale and some gave donations of items to be sold. This was a very successful event which raised approximately £600. Thanks went to everyone who went along.

They have a Facebook page which promotes their activities and will keep you up-to-date with what is going on and future events.  There are events running in the background such as the Wednesday tuck shop which is very popular.

A free Film Night will be held on Monday December 7 where we will be showing Inside Out. Beath High wish to invite all to what should be a fun family night out.

And finally on Friday November 27 they have a Quiz Night organised to take place in Beath HS. Tickets will be £3 each. Posters are already up around the school. They would love it if more people could manage to join in on the night.
